Practice Hours & Appointments
Appointments can be booked by calling our reception. Priority is always given to emergencies.
Call 07 4931 3550 to book. Due to the nature of obstetric work, Dr Etherington is occasionally called out for deliveries during the day. We appreciate your patience in these circumstances.
Fees, Billing & Known Gap
Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, or credit card.
For non-insured patients, the Australian Medical Association (AMA) fee structure forms the basis of our billing policy.
For insured patients, this practice participates in the Known Gap Scheme for gynaecological surgery and obstetrics. Written quotes are always provided before procedures are scheduled. Payment in installments can be arranged if needed.
Access, Security & Out of Hours
Dr Etherington is available for telephone calls during opening hours. In an emergency, calls are put straight through. Emailed queries are answered promptly.
Dr Etherington provides 24-hour care for patients. On weekends, he shares a roster system with Rockhampton's other private obstetricians/gynaecologists.
Your medical record is highly confidential. We secure your information at all times, making it accessible only to authorized staff.
